I must confess that I had never heard of Ranch Dressing before I started blogging. It’s definitely not an Italian thing. We use more vinaigrette based condiments for our salads and vegetables, so I never really knew it. After trying it though, I must say that I fell in love with it. I am a huge fan of mayo, so that did not come as a surprise! However, as I like to make my own condiments, I thought I should make Home-made Ranch Dressing too. It is so easy to make that you will never buy it in the stores again! You can use it as a dip or as a condiment for salads or even on your burger! You name it!  Enjoy!

Home-made Ranch Dressing

Home-made Ranch Dressing - very easy to make and so much better than the store bought one!

Ingredients

• ½ cup sour cream
• ¾ tbsp garlic powder or 1 small garlic clove, mashed
• ¾ tbsp onion powder
• 1 tbsp dill or parsley chopped
• 1 tbsp chives chopped
• ¼ cup mayo better if home-made – click here for the recipe
• 1 or 2 tbsp milk or buttermilk to consistency
• Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Mix all the ingredients together and adjust consistency with milk/buttermilk.
2. Season to taste and use it for your favourite recipes.
   
3. Store in an air tight jar for up to 3 days in the fridge.
